Main Function

The Amusement Specialist is responsible for creating a fun, engaging, and dynamic environment in the amusement area, ensuring that all Guests enjoy a high-quality entertainment experience.

Actively interacts with Guests, promotes games and activities, and supports onboard revenue through effective guest engagement and sales. The role also includes maintaining the functionality of amusement equipment and ensuring smooth daily operations in cooperation with the Head of Amusement.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in oral English (minimum B1 level).
  • Ability to speak additional languages (at least two languages such as German, Spanish, French, Italian, etc.) is considered a strong advantage.
  • Previous experience in amusement operations, entertainment, arcade environments, or customer service roles.
  • Basic technical knowledge or willingness to learn how to operate and maintain amusement equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for guest interaction and entertainment.
  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide friendly, energetic, and professional service at all times, ensuring Guests feel welcome and engaged in the amusement area.
  • Actively promote games, activities, tournaments, and special offers to increase guest participation and onboard revenue.
  • Explain game rules clearly and assist Guests in using amusement equipment.
  • Ensure all machines and equipment are functioning properly and report any technical issues promptly.
  • Perform minor maintenance and basic troubleshooting when required.
  • Create a lively and entertaining atmosphere that encourages Guests to return and participate.
  • Support the Head of Amusement in daily operations and organization of the area.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards within the amusement area.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work as part of an international team, contributing to a positive and cooperative working environment.
