Main Function
The Specialty Assistant Waiter is responsible for supporting the Waiter in delivering high- quality service in specialty restaurants on board.
Ensures smooth dining operations by assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining high standards of presentation, and providing attentive and personalized service to Guests. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to excellence in a fine dining environment.
Qualifications
Fluent in oral and written English (working language of the Company).
Ability to speak additional languages (German, Spanish, French, Italian, etc.) is considered a strong advantage.
Previous experience in fine dining restaurants, luxury hotels, or cruise ships.
Good knowledge of food & beverage service standards and dining etiquette.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide courteous, professional, and attentive service at all times, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Assist the Waiter in serving food and beverages according to company standards.
Prepare and set up tables, ensuring proper mise en place and presentation.
Ensure that Guests are served efficiently and without unnecessary delays.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned dining area.
Anticipate Guest needs and respond promptly and professionally.
Support the promotion of menu items and upselling when required.
Follow all company policies regarding hygiene, safety, and service standards.
Work closely with team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
Contribute to creating a refined and welcoming dining atmosphere.
