Contract duration – 4–6 months
Main Function
The Technical Inventory Officer is responsible for supervising the loading, storage and inventory control of Engine Department stores onboard.
Ensures proper inventory procedures, stock control and logistics coordination according to company and customs regulations.
Qualifications
Good oral and written English communication skills.
Previous experience in inventory control, logistics or technical stores management.
Good computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
Experience with inventory systems is considered an advantage.
Valid STCW certificates.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Control loading and discharge operations of Engine Department stores and supplies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock control documentation.
Monitor storage conditions and proper preservation of technical materials and spare parts.
Prepare inventory reports and discrepancy reports when required.
Coordinate technical landing procedures and customs documentation.
Conduct regular stock counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
Support procurement and provisioning procedures onboard.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures.
