Description

Period of employment: 6 months (+15 days, -30 days)
The MSC will pay all expenses to cover the travelling costs to embark and disembark (when you comply the contract)

Qualifications

We are looking for Chief Engineers with seagoing experience on container vessels. Candidates should be well experienced in operation, maintenance and repair of all machinery (preferably experience with MAN B&W two stroke diesel engines) and electrical equipment including ballast pumps, valves, deck machinery, refrigeration machinery. Reefer containers maintenance and repair, preparation of malfunction reports. Requisition of all consumables and spare parts, using AMOS software. Supervising all kind of engine works and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed. Ability to read and understand all manuals and instructions in English language required. Working language on board of all MSC vessels is English.
