Description
Contract length: Contract signed 6 months (+15 /- 30 days), but it is important guarantee minimum 4 months on board 2 at home
Qualifications
Extensive experience at sea in a similar or higher position (Cruise, Ro-Pax, Ro-Ro, Ferry, Container, Bulk carrier type vessels of mid and large size)
Long experience as head watch
Basic Windows based programs knowledge
Satisfy the requirements of STCW 95 regarding the certification for this position
Certificate of Competency Reg. III/2
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Ability to work in a harmonious productive team environment
Above average supervisory and diplomatic crisis and problem handling/solving skills
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Engine Watch-keeping. Responsible for the daily maintenance and operations of the engineering and technical aspects of the vessel as directed by The Chief Engineer and Staff Engineer. To relieve the Daily Engineer if required
