Main Function
To socialize with guests and act as a communication specialist by providing personalized customer service, language assistance, and translation. Enhance guests understanding and enjoyment of their cruise experience through effective communication and cultural liaison.
Qualifications
Fluent in oral and written English (working & safety language of the Company)
Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in at least two additional major languages (German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian, Chinese, etc.)
Proven experience in hospitality, guest services, or entertainment roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptable, confident, and guest-service oriented
Basic Safety Training (BST) and required certifications
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome, socialize, and assist guests throughout the cruise, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction
Provide language assistance and translation services for guests in assigned language groups
Conduct travel and orientation talks about destinations and cruise services
Act as Master of Ceremonies during special events and entertainment programs in respective languages
Manage guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints, reporting as necessary to Cruise Director or Guest Services
Support embarkation, disembarkation, and shore excursions with guest liaison duties
Collaborate with entertainment and hospitality teams to enhance guest experiences
Make announcements and participate in guest activities and themed events
Uphold company standards in appearance, conduct, and safety compliance
